Presentation

      In the heart of the Paris-Descartes University, the Health Law Institute (Institut Droit et Santé) was established as an interdisciplinary institute for expertise and learning in the sphere of health law. It’s a think-tank associating researchers, practitioners and professionals in different fields (law, medicine, pharmacy, economics, sociology, biology, psychology…), all working together to fulfill a common mission: to give legal advice in our areas of expertise.
The institute provides, for example, learning opportunities, advice to the authorities in the public health sector and expertise on matters having a significant impact on health law or policy.
The Institute is co-directed by three professors from Paris-Descartes University Anne LAUDE, law professor, Didier TABUTEAU, associate professor, health chair director at Sciences Po Paris, and Michel de GUILLENCHMIDT, Previous Dean, law professor, court lawyer.
The members of the Health Law Institute are in particular Olivier AMEDEE-MANESME, Mireille BACACHE-GIBEILI,Xavier CABANNES, Duncan FAIRGRIEVE, Luc GRYNBAUM, Camille KOUCHNER and Jérôme PEIGNE.
The collaborators of IDS are in particular Nadège Avisse, Agnès Boyer, Fazimah Bucksun, Aurélie Gabriel, Frédérique Célestin, Valérie Lefèvre, Loïc Piard, Marion Pipard, Emilie Vernhet Lamoly and Barbara Xiste.
