-The Health Law Institute launched the « Entretiens Droit et Santé ».
The first conference took place on February 19th, 2008 « Penal law and Health » by O. Bertella-Geffroy Vice President, Coordinator of the public health pole at the « Tribunal de Grande Instance » (TGI) of Paris.
The interview has been published in the « Gazette du Palais », October, 2008.

- « Evaluation des pratiques médicales : enjeux sanitaires et juridiques » in partnership with the HAS, on March 13th and 14th, 2008

-« Le cinquantenaire de la législation du Code de la santé publique » IDS –Sciences-Po Health Chair symposium, on April 3rd, 2008.
Acts have been published in Verbatim-Santé edited by « Editions de Santé » and « Presses de Sciences-Po ».

- On May 19th, 2008, the Institute organised a symposium themed, « La responsabilité des produits défectueux, 10 ans après ».
Acts have been published in the « Revue Droit Sanitaire et Social », 2008, n° 6, November - December, p. 1007.

- The Institute and Sciences-Po Health chair in partnership with the « Commission de sécurité des Consommateurs » and the « Institut national de la Consommation » organised on June 11th, 2008 a symposium themed « Patients security, consumers security : convergences and differences ».

- On June 24th, 2008, within the framework of the « Entretiens Droit et santé », the Institute had the pleasure of inviting M. Bruno Lasserre, Conseiller d’Etat and President of the « Conseil de la Concurrence », to the Paris Descartes University, as speaker lecturing on « Competition and health »
